Welcome to Cottesloe Independent

We are a community-driven group in the state electorate of Cottesloe, Western Australia.

Established in 2024 leading up to the state election, our goal is to strengthen democracy across our community.

We represent local residents looking for solutions to pressing community concerns on a range of issues.

The dominance of major parties in WA is no longer working in the interests of our community.  The voice and wishes of our community have been systematically stripped away - enough is enough.

The people of Cottesloe deserve to have their interests represented, not the vested interests of political parties and their donors.

It’s time for new solutions.

  • Better Community Consultation
  • Transparency & Integrity
  • Economically Responsible Government
  • Evidence-based Policy
  • Sustainable Planning & Development
  • Action on climate
